Fiat Lux make television debut - Wakefield Express (25/03/83) by John Furbishe

Two local bands are to make their television debuts on Monday evening. Bill Nelson proteges Fiat Lux, from Wakefield and Pontefract rock band Mendes Prey will perform on BBC North's "Bubbling Under" at 6.50pm. It is the second in a series of four half-hour programmes recorded live at colleges and universities featuring the northern talent that is just "bubbling under." Monday's programme, recorded at Leeds University, includes Jab Jab, a reggae band from Huddersfield.
